Global Privacy Control & local storage
This isn't a cookie, but it's part of the same mechanism: modenX detects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically on every page and writes a small record to your browser's local storage confirming when the resulting opt-out was applied. This value never leaves your device except as part of the opt-out request itself.
